Created in 18K yellow gold, this highly detailed serpent is complete with flexible scales, fangs, and a long, forked tongue. The enamel scales start on the head in a burnt orange color and graduate down the spectrum from orange to golden yellow, to soft green, and finally to blue, where the tail tucks under the chin. The head incorporates all the colors used in the piece and has three plates pave set with diamonds. The diamonds weigh an approximate .50ct total of overall H color and VS2 clarity. Inside circumference measures 6 5/8 inches. The widest part of the head is 13/16 of an inch across and tapers down to 1/2 inch at the rear. The plunger clasp snaps firmly into place at the back of the head and is released by depressing one diamond shaped scale that stands up higher at the nape of the snake's neck. The cuff is further secured by a figure eight safety clasp on one side. There are no markings, but the snake tests as 18k gold. Gross weight 108.42 grams.
