A carved, hardstone frog with a designer style. This friendly amphibian has two cabochon coral eyes that are bezel set in 18K yellow gold. In addition, it is detailed with 13 bezel set cabochon turquoise accents, and with gold beads on the hindquarters. Our little frog buddy measures 1 1/16 inches at the hips by 1 3/4 inches long. The body itself is comprised of petrified wood that has morphed over the course of many millennia, into jasper chalcedony. The reverse side features a gold double pin and receiver, as well as a circular plate stamped 750 indicating 18K. Gross weight 27.9 grams.
