This truly amazing Mid-20th Century Italian pendant / brooch crafted in 18k yellow gold with cobalt blue enamel accents represents the very best of this delightful genre. A beautiful lady in classical Renaissance garb wearing a tiara of actual diamonds is set in a frame of rich blue enamel. The entire piece is edged in a single line of 3.25mm Japanese Akoya cultured pearls. The effect is very aesthetic. For wear as a brooch a double florentine finish bale folds down and is hidden. The rear is stamped Kt18 in a uniquely Italian manner . The piece measures approximately 1 3/4 inches by 1 3/8 inches. Gross weight 15.90 grams.
