A spectacular pair of ruby and diamond earrings fashioned in 18K gold that borrow a floral design from nature. The main attraction of these beautiful earrings are the 16 pigeon's blood red oval shaped rubies. The earrings have been sent to the Gemological Institute of America, and 2 stones were selected at random to be tested. The result is that both stones are of certified Burmese origin. The seven round brilliant cut diamonds in the center of each earring are surrounded by eight oval shaped rubies. Following the edges of the rubies is a border of smaller brilliant cut diamonds set in yellow gold. Chic and tasteful, they measure 7/8 of an inch in diameter. One earring is stamped 2.52 (for the total diamond weight), and the other is stamped 18K and 10.95 (for the total weight of the rubies). Diamonds are of overall G color and VS2 clarity. Equipped with posts and fold down omega backs. Gross weight 18.8 grams.
