This striking pair of 18K yellow gold French Cartier Bombe earrings are simple in design and yet are visually enchanting. Five undulating bands of black enamel on each create a sense of motion. Measures 1 inch in length by 7/8 inch in width. The domes reach a height of 1/2, inch so that they are not at all demure in appearance, nor are they overwhelming. Worn or a slight angle, as shown on the model. Each earring back is marked Cartier FRANCE, 18c and one bears the Cartier inventory number, 5557. Gross weight 26.25 grams.
