This expertly hammered and bark finish pair of Late-20th Century 18k yellow gold J hoop earrings are as well crafted as they are striking and beautiful. Deep hammering detail covers the entire center sections of this bombe dome pair, and raised edges have the appearance of twisted rope. Each earring measures 3/4 inch long by 1/2 an inch across the bottom, tapering down to 5/16 of an inch in width at the top. At the center, in very precise raised bezels, are a total of eight Princess cut diamonds having an exact total weight of 1.12ct. Overall quality is G color and VS1/VS2 clarity. On the reverse of one earring is stamped 750 (for 18K gold). On the reverse of the other earring is stamped 112 (for the total diamond weight of the pair). Equipped with posts and fold down Omega backs. Gross weight 16.1 grams.
