Crafted at some point during the middle of the 20th century, undoubtedly in Italy, this very substantial 18K yellow gold fluted link, coral wrapped rope necklace has a hefty weight and feel.

Measures 18 1/2 inches in length and graduates ever so slightly from a width of .535 inches at the center to a width of .405 inches at the very rear. A sturdy plunger clasp, complimented by a figure eight safety clasp, secures the necklace when worn. The item is unsigned but has been tested as 18K gold. Gross weight 112.50 grams.
