This elegant, diamond encrusted Late-20th Century French Van Cleef & Arpels barette is sure to bring an extra sparkle to the wearer's look, and to the beholder's eye. Crafted in 18k yellow gold and set with forty eight modern brilliant cut diamonds in a delicate tapering braided design, this lovely hair accessory is both tasteful and timeless. Total approximate diamond weight is 1.85ct of overall G color and VS1 clarity. Length is 2 1/16 inches and maximum width is 3/8 inches, tapering to approximately 1/8 inch at each end. The reverse is stamped VCA, copyright 1979, 750 (for 18k gold), and the makers mark. Gross weight 9.07 grams.
