18K Yellow Gold, Turquoise, Sapphire and Diamond 1960's Cocktail Ring

This lovely 17k to 18k yellow gold Mid-20th Century cocktail ring with a design area measuring 1 inch by 7/8 inches, posseses all of the scale, style and materials one would expect to see in jewelry of this period. A rich blue turquoise measuring 14.60mm by 10mm is surrounded by fourteen round brilliant cut diamonds havong a total approximate weight of 1.25ct and an overall quality of H color and VS2 clarity. These are surrounded by a somewhat lower ring of natural blue faceted round sapphires having a total approximatre weight of 1.00ct. The apex of the center turquoise sits a full 5/8 inches above the finger when worn, adding drama to an already very visible ring.

Rope and bead motifs are incorporated into all walls and shoulders of the ring. The inside of the shank is stamped J. G. Jewelry and ring size is 5. No gold gold quality mark is present but testing reveals 17k to 18k content. Gross weight is 15.15 grams.
