There are not many jewelry designers who have created items that are as iconic, recognizable, and palpable as David Webb. His jewels are always unique, distinctive and most often have monumental scale. This Mid-20th Century bombe dome cocktail ring is true to that tradition in every respect. A total of six large swirls of entirely hammered surfaces create an exciting sense of motion. With a total measure of over 1 inch by 7/8 of an inch, and a height of 5/8 inch above the finger at its apex, this ring is very impressive. A raised plate inside the ring is stamped WEBB, for the maker, 18K, and with copyright and registration seals. Equipped with a sizing spring inside which allows for adjustments to the ring size. The ring is presently size 6 1/4. Gross weight 19.80 grams
