Striking Andrew Clunn Hammered 18K Gold, Diamond, & Black Enamel Bangle Bracelet
This captivating bombe, hammered, 18k yellow gold bangle bracelet by Andrew Clunn, features a design area replete with geometric lines of fine quality diamonds contrasting a field of lustrous black enamel. From the diamond encrusted center panel flow alternating lines of hammered and high polish gold. The bracelet is hinged on one side. The secure plunger clasp assures safe wear and is augmented by a high quality flip style safety. Thirty four brilliant cut diamonds have a total approximate weight of 1.35ct of overall G/H color and VS2 clarity. The inside circumference measures 6 1/2 inches. The bracelet tapers from 3/4 inch at the widest point and tapers down to 1/2 inch at the rear. A. Cluun, 18k and Plat.(indicating platinum) are stamped on the reverse of the clasp. Gross weight 27.41 grams.
Note: Andrew Clunn, born in England joined the venerated American firm of David Webb in 1963 where he quickly became Webb's second in command. In 1980 he left to pursue his own entrepeneurial ambitions, setting up shop catering to the public on Madison Avenue in New York City.
